Pastor Sanford Cooper is the founder of Gateway Church which was established in the East Tennessee Lakeway Region in 1980 which is now a growing multicultural community of believers, Pastor Cooper has enjoyed fruitful ministry for over 45 years. His ministry experiences include youth work, church planting, mission work on four continents, and pastoring pastors. His “Kingdom Living” message establishes the love of our Father over culture, language, and economics.
Pastor Cooper has been married to the beautiful Debra since 1969. Their life together has produced 3 children and many grandchildren. Out of their life and ministry together, they founded Morristown Covenant Academy in 1985- a kindergarten through 12th-grade Christian-based school that provides excellent, affordable academic training from a Biblical worldview.
